ARRIVAL DETAILS

Mostly people who rent apts. like to be independent - however Cairo can be a difficult to city to a first-timer - even having a little arabic will not help you unless you also understand the culture. So, I like to meet my guests myself, show you the apt, give you information notes and a local area map. I also offer to introduce you to the local fruit/water sellers etc. (that way they charge you Egyptian price and take care of you). For anyone staying a week or more I like to take you to the nearest supermarket where you will recognise more of your own brands of food. - believe me at the end of a week this might be something you will appreciate! Foreign food is great but can be a bit much 3 or 4 times every day....

As we are in the centre of town all the following are very near (some even in the street itself) - cash machines, banks, markets, laundry, pharmacy, bureau de change, bakery, fruit vendors, fast-food, restaurants, deliveries & take-aways, Egypt Air office and the metro underground train is around the corner.

Security in our building is not an issue - we have 3 doormen cum caretakers in the building & there is no shortage of policemen in the street outside as we are next to the Banque du Cairo.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Deposit - first night's rental - from credit card is taken to confirm the booking. For bookings of one week or more the deposit is the first week's rental. No extra charge for using credit card for the deposit. This deposit is non-refundable should you decide to cancel the booking at any time. The deposit policy is not connected to the cancellation policy.

2. Payment in full on arrival, in cash (euro, dollar, or Egyptian). Credit card facility for the balance has a 3% extra charge.

3. Cancellation Policies

You can cancel the booking up to 14 days before arrival date and no further charges will be made against your credit card. This is the cancellation police not related to the deposit policy. If cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date - or you fail to arrive, the full apt. rental as booked will be charged to your credit card.

Rooms in Cairo reserve the right to refuse admission should we consider our accommodation unsuitable to client's needs.

Payment of deposit is taken as automatic acceptance of these terms & conditions.
